Home Building Industry Awards

DeRosa Builders are honored to have received six Home Building Industry Awards (HOBIs) over the last four years. Sponsored by the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Connecticut (HBACT), an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the HOBI Awards is Connecticut’s most prestigious recognition of excellence in home construction, home technology, sales and marketing, home financing and community service. Winners are selected by a panel of judges who are industry leaders with years of experience in residential construction, remodeling and design. Judges review several hundred entries divided into different categories, then travel the state for several days, touring the homes and talking to the builders. Hundreds of attendees come together for the annual HOBI Awards event to celebrate the awardees as well as the building industry in Connecticut.
